Shipping

How much does it cost?

Shipping costs are based on the total weight of your order, where your package will be shipped, and which shipping method you choose. Most orders (less than 1 lb.) will ship for $5.95 via US mail. You'll see exact shipping costs and options after you enter your address at checkout.

If you'd prefer that in-stock items in your order ship separately from pre-order items , please make a note in the order comments at checkout. We're happy to split orders for free from December 1st to January 1st. During non-holiday periods, we charge shipping on both packages if items are shipped separately. This is to encourage everyone to be mindful of the amount of gas, carbon emissions, and packaging that are used whenever a package is sent out.

When will I get my stuff?

Orders for in-stock items will be processed and shipped within 1-2 business days, unless otherwise noted on the product page. Please see the table below for shipping times. Orders placed before 12pm CST for expedited shipping will be shipped the same business day. Orders placed over the weekend will usually ship on Monday. You'll get an email when your order ships with tracking info included.

For pre-order items, you will receive an email confirming your order, as well as notifications of any delays. We do our best to keep estimated shipment times updated on the site, so you should have an accurate idea of when your order will ship.

My order just arrived. Why does the packaging look weird?

You know, it drives us crazy when companies claim to be environmentally conscious and then ship stuff in brand-new boxes. All of our packaging is reused from a variety of sources: you may get a cereal box, reused bubble wrap, a mall store shopping bag, or a bag with bears on it from a baby shower. Unless your order is expedited via UPS, it's unlikely you'll ever receive brand-new packaging.

To give credit where it's due, we ordered an awesome t-shirt from our friend Alex Means at Stay Vocal, which arrived at our office in a reused granola bar box. We thought this was a great idea and knew right away that this was the way we should be shipping our orders, too. Thanks, Alex!
